[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Effective Area for Ventilation

Hi Alessandro,

Thank you for your answer! As I said I used to model the effective area for ventilation through window factors in Detailed Opening. So, If I want a window with maximum area of ventilation =50%, I describe the fully open window (open factor 2=1): width factor: 0.5, height factor:1 and start height factor=0. And in Window/Door Opening Factor in Multizone: Surface I enter with 1. Am I right to model like that?

Or is better only change the Window/Door Opening Factor in Multizone: Surface to achieve the maximum area of ventilation (in that case 50%)?

I am using the control mode by temperature.

Thank you very much,
Best,
