Hi,You are right: when you change Win/Door Opening Factor in Multizone:Surface obj, E+ goes to interpolate between the upper and lower values (erspect to that value) found in Detailed opening obj. That is, if you only specify characteristics of fully closed (open fact 1 = 0) and fully open (open fact 2 = 1) window , than you choose a win opening factor of 0.5 to get the 50% as maximum area of ventilation (this can be reduced if you choose some ventilation control mode). Note as you can not directly schedule the amount of venting area, but only specify the minimum, the maximum and some rules according to which it can vary between minimum and maximum.
