[EnergyPlus_Support] ice storage

I have a building model with packaged AC unit. I want to add a ice storage system to my building. 

1. The simple and detailed ice storage models available in EnergyPlus can be applied only to buildings which have water cooled chillers? The existing packaged AC unit cannot charge/discharge the ice tank?

2. Using the ice storage system integrated with packaged AC module is the only option?

3. The existing base load DX coil can be retained if the ice storage system integrated with packaged AC module is used which has its own DX coil ?
