Dear EPlus,
Is it possible to model DOAS system without any Return Path? We are trying to introduce outdoor air via ducting network with a box-in-line fan and deliver it to several independent diffusers/grilles and some other to FCU's mixer in different rooms. Fresh air is then blown into destined rooms without any return network (ducts) belong to DOAS. Used air then is assumed gone via exfiltration and/or back into FCU's return ducts and recirculated to FCU's mixer again. In other words the DOAS provide supply of fresh air only, without any means to balance the supplied air (no return/exhaust/relief air). In EPlus, should I proceed with DOAS system or Unitary Outdoor Air Unit? Whereas as far as we know, in DOAS system the return nodes must be included/defined. Any help would be appreciated.
For more information, aside the fresh air mentioned above we also provide cooling units via VRF system in the same rooms.
