Not exactly, Jean.  If you don't define ground temperatures, it will
use a constant, default temperature (as noted in the warning).

Discussion on ground heat transfer with EnergyPlus should be found in the
Auxiliary Programs document.  I believe some new ground contact
algos have been included in recent updates.
