I've not worked with internal variables myself. I would check the edd file if that internal variable is even listed. Not everything is accessible with EMS. But maybe you even see other things you could use for the same purpose.

i haven´t actually, but changed that.
i added 'flag' as well as 'warmupflag' to the EMS internal variables.

Eventhough i dont get any severe errors during my simulation, i dont seem to see any distinct "flag" that shows the beginning and end of the warm up phase.
