It's a program. Graphical representation and what thickness is used in calculations have nothing to do with each other. If you want good graphics, use DesignBuilder or similar.

Check out the fields for sill depth, etc. if you have to take those effects into account.

Is it possible to position a window with setback on a thicker wall using Energy Plus? I can see that in Energy Plus when a wall is created it is just a thin surface without any thickness. The thickness I am providing is not reflected in the diagram. Is there any option to provide the position details of windows on a thicker wall?
