Thanks Jim for your reply,I'm not intending to give the FCU the power but more the cooling coil.Would that be the same? However, in the Fan data screen, I don't see anywhere the place to put a power but more a performance curve.Do you know anything about it or a translation for a power to the DB parameters? Thanks,Regards,Nassim Jamali

Subject: Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Fan Coil Unit - Convert cooling power capacity to maximum cold water flowÂNassim,You can edit the fan power by expanding the zone HVAC, then editing the fan object.Fan sizing is also affected by the sizing temperatures in the HVAC Zone Data screen. On Wed, Oct 12, 2016 at 8:40 AM, Nassim Jamali nassimji@xxxxxxxxxx [EnergyPlus_Support] <EnergyPlus_Support@yahoogroups.com > wrote:ÂHi all,
I have to size Fan coil units in my model with known cooling powers.
But on EnergyPlus/DesignBuilder, we can only specify maximum cold water flow.
I've checked the Engineering reference of EnergyPlus (pasge 289 - Fan Coil Unit Sizing Formula (1257)) and they give the formula linking the two entities. However, it is unclear what are the other different parameters involved, didn't find any nomenclature explaining them (quite annoying actually), especially the DeltaTloop, des.
Can someone help me with it?
Thanks in advance
