As the original developer of these weather files, I went back to
the original files that are not in the epw format, and found the
reason and cause for these anomalies. What's reported in the raw
data files are the dry bulb and dew point temperatures, and if
they were missing I would interpolate from the available data. At that time when I created these files (2004), I failed to
compare the dry-bulb and dewpoint to each other to make sure that
the latter (dewpoint) never exceeded the dry-bulb, something that
I had added to my software since. The correction is very simple, and I have done that on the original files, but I'm not sure the best way to transmit that to the EnergyPlus Weather web site. I would be happy to work with Linda to make sure these changes are added to the "ETMY" weather files.
