Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] [HUMIDITY] How to model pans and showers creating water vapour?

you should check out Incorpera and De Witte. They have correlations for mass and heat transfer from (also) boiling and non-boiling surfaces. Assigning water vapour and heat loads can be done with the OtherEquipment object.

Dear All,

I am evaluating the condesation rate in the internal surfaces that is generated by pans with boiling water and showers. My doubt is how to model this type of equipments?

I had already tested the following groups: Steam:Equipment and HotWater:Equipment, but I don't know why I didn't get consist results through the outputs: Zone Mean Air Dewpoint Temperature and Zone Mean Air Humidity Ratio [kgWater/kgDryAir].

I would be glad if anyone helps me to solve this point!

Thank you very much!!

Best,

Michele Rossi
