Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Autosizing HVAC and peak load

The only thing that has violent changes in schedules is setpoint. I tried a smoother change (from a setback of  20C to the actual setpoint of 21C). However, there is still the same issue.
Any insight would be appreciated.

A pretty common cause could be violent changes in schedules (eg go from a setback of 15C heating at night back to whatever your actual set point is, say 21C at 8:00 am exactly).
Check that!

Thanks for the help.
Unmet heating setpoint is OK. Actually, I set zero internal heat gains from people, lights and electric equipment for winter design day. So, I expect the peak load on winter design day during simulating winter design day would be higher than the same day in my annual simulation run that I have internal heat gains from people, light and electric equipment.
Any help would be appreciated.
