I had the similar issue and this command did not work for me. I think this is not applicable in DOE 2.2.

Subject: [Equest-users] RCondenser Water Temp Control

Good Morning All

I have two questions.

1. Anyone know if there is there any way to override the eQuest minimum CWS temp (60°F)? We are using centrifugal chillers with VFD that will operate with CWS temps as low as 50°F.

I found this in post from 5/6/10:
...place the commands below just before the
equipment you want to disable the limits.
        " DIAGNOSTIC NO-LIMITS.."

I tried putting this before the chiller or the CW loop definition in the input file to no effect and eQuest deletes the command.

One annoyingly frustrating thing about this "low limit" is that when a "water side economizer" chiller is put on the same loop to model a free cool heat exchanger the CWS temp can go below the limit (I'm not sure how the low limit is controlled ).

This leads me to the second question:

2. Anyone know how to control the CWS temp during free cool? I have tried to use a CW reset schedule but the schedule is ignored in free cool. The warning in the eQuest, DOE2, help on the topic that it's all or nothing seems to mean auto pilot only.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
Melissa
