The next release (1.0.2) will contain a revised set of descriptions about 
the COMIS link. They will help a bit.  This release is imminent (real soon 
now).

Also, the example file 3zvent that comes with the EnergyPlus distribution 
contains a simple natural ventilation example of EnergyPlus/COMIS.
