RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Changing the batch file "RunEPlus.bat"

Thanks for your solution, but it is not working either. I copied RunReadESO to PostProcess folder. I guess, in the main EXE File (EnergyPlus.exe), there is at least one call to eplusout.eso and probably I am missing some prefix like %program_path% somewhere in the batch file.

You might say, there’s call to eplusout.eso at :L2 part of the batch file. My understanding is that, RunReadESO is for post-processing and not necessarily needed for running EnergyPlus. So I REMed it, but doesn’t work.

The error message still is the same, like:

May I know, where is eplusout.eso referenced? Is that in ReadVarsESO or EnergyPlus.exe?

Without looking too deeply or trying it, I would offhand say you need to copy or make a RunReadESO.bat file in the Post Processing folder where the ReadVarsESO file is.

And since I just looked at our Standard RunEPLus -- I'd say it's not working correctly! Hmmm.

The file RunReadESO.bat needs to be in the PostProcess folder according to this scenario -- and it isn't. Perhaps putting it there will make this all work>

The error 'RunReadESO' is not recognizable is a Windows 2000 (or other?) message for "I couldn't find this file".
