[EnergyPlus_Support] NV validation

hi:

i know EnergyPlus and COMIS have been validated individually. have there been any validation studies (with another similar tool or measured data) carried out for the "air-flow" model within EnergyPlus? it would be great to know, as i am investigating the performance of a building section using EnergyPlus that has also been studied using CONTAMR (a thermal/airflow simulation tool) and wanted to know if something on these lines have been done before.
