[EnergyPlus_Support] A question about humidity

  Dear,

The humidity control in the office room is assumed to be passive, meaning that only supply temperature is controlled. So I want to investigate the passive humidity level characteristic in the conditioned room.

For the simulation in E+, pump and fan need to input volumetric flow rate by a special numerical value, if Do the zone, system or plant sizing calculations are not set. In order to use the AUTOSIZE for the flow rate input, the RUN CONTROL should need to be set. However, in the Design Objects such as Zone Sizing, the Zone cooling design supply air humidity ratio is also needed.

My aim is to investigate the humidity ratio for the supply air at different conditions. For example, I set the humidity ratio is 0.012kg-H2O/kg-AIR in Zone Sizing for cooling design. So, I wonder if this value in the zone supply inlet is constant (always 0.012kg-H2O/kg-AIR?), regardless of other condition changes such as outside air humidity ratio during the simulation in E+?

  Thanks.

  Rgs,
  Xu
