[EnergyPlus_Support] about the design day

Dear, 

In my IDF file, I defined two DesignDays, namely summer design day 
and winter design day.  The summer design day object had field Day 
Type set to SummerDesignDay, and the winter design day object had 
field Day Type set to SummerDesignDay. The winter design day was Jan 
21 1989 first, but the system didn¡¯t work on this design day 
simulation, there was no heating and no cooling on that day. Then I 
set the winter design day as Jan 20 1989,   but that didn¡¯t work 
yet. I wondered why that happened, and that would affect the results 
of  heating energy?
