[EnergyPlus_Support] How to set initial conditions in a simulation? (zone temperature, etc...)

Hello everybody!!
I work in a team of researchers in the University of
Jaen,Spain. We´re trying to build control strategies
for energy efficiency in buildings, using EnergyPlus.
We don´t know how to set initial conditions in a
simulation (zone temperature). We know how to select a
period of the year but not the zone´s thermodinamical
state.
Do you know something about the matter?
