[EnergyPlus_Support] big zones - voids?
Hi everybody,
I would like to know if there is a way to model a void between 2 zones in E+.
Basically, I want to divide a big zone into smaller ones and so many of my adjacent surfaces are going to be voids instead of heat transfer surfaces - or if you want heat transfer surfaces with the properties of air.
If I was modelling in Ecotect I would assign a "void" material to this surfaces, if I was modelling in ESP-r I would assign a fictitious material to them but I'm not sure what to do in E+. How does it account for the heat exchange between the zones that are separated by voids (no heat transfer surfaces - only air) ?
I thank you very much for your help and I look forward to hearing from you soon,
Best regards,
Clarice
