The following programs are recommended for viewing svg output:

Adobe SVG Viewer plug-in for Internet Explorer

http://www.adobe.com/svg/viewer/install/ 


or the Opera web browser 

http://www.opera.com  

Both are free downloads. A good example file to use for testing that the viewer 
is working properly would be 5ZoneReturnFan.idf
