I am not sure if this questions was ever answered.  Some problems were found in 
the EnergyPlus "Input Verification and Results Summary" (and maybe one other 
tabular report) which will be corrected in version 2.1:

The reported window areas were for the glass only, and did not include the 
frame area.  The full opening area (glass plus frame) will be reported and the 
column heading changed.

U-values were not consistently reported, some included inside and outside 
convection (film) coefficients, some did not.  U-values with and without film 
coefficients will both be reported for opaque surfaces.
