Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Shading Control issue



You could use the Schedule:File:Comma object to define the blind 
schedule. Open the weather file in a spreadsheet. Insert a new column 
for hour of day and initialize to 1 to 24 for all days. Use the IF 
command to calculate the hourly schedule value. IF (hour < 9, 1, IF(hour 
 > 20, 0, IF(OAT < 20, 0,1))). Do this for 8760 hours. Save this 
schedule as comma delimited to create the Schedule:File:Comma object. 
What this hourly schedule can not do is interpolate the weather data to 
turn the blinds on/off at intervals less than 60 minutes.
