The "Calc Des Air Flow Rate" is the max flow rate that the program has
calculated to meet the
zone load (using design day weather and schedules and user specified
zone supply air temperature)
while simulating the design days. This calculated flow rate can then be
modified by the user in various
ways. The simplest is by applying a sizing factor. Other things that
might alter the calculated design
flow are minimum ventilation requirements and/or minimum flow
requirements. The result is reported
out under "User Des Air Flow Rate".
