[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Modelling an atrium used for air extract



Dear Andy,

If you make the atrium the return plenum, you will lose temperature
control for the atrium, i.e., it's temperature will be too high in
summer and too cold in winter.  This is probably not desirable, since
it will underestimate atrium energy use.

I recall past posts that describe a method for allowing air to pass
through a zone, but haven't done that procedure myself.  That approach
sounds more realistic and accurate.
