[EnergyPlus_Support] RE: Problem with EPW data file format

Hi, 

I relatively new to EnergyPlus and I have been try to generate .epw
weather data file using Matlab. I seem to have a problem with the
header file when I tried to simulate it and I can't find more info
about this in the documentations. For my project, I'm interested only
in the data period values and so the other headers (eg. ground
temperatures) have been left blank.

Could this be due to the formatting from matlab ? After every header
(eg. Design Conditions) I inserted a newline. But when viewed on
notepad everything seems to clump together.


This is how my header looks like :
LOCATION,Washington D.C.,District of Columbia,United States of
America,, 0.0,39.0,-77.0,-5.0,82.0
DESIGN CONDITIONS,
TYPICAL/EXTREME PERIODS,
GROUND TEMPERATURES,
