For you problem, there are probably two solutions.

1. Within E+ itself, you can define hourly schedule by yourself using Schedule:File option. 

2. You can interact with MATLAB based on Ptolemy II platform.The details could be referred to: https://gaia.lbl.gov/bcvtb
