[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Question about solar collectors

Hello,

I come back to this question because I'm still confused about the collector area definition.

According to the input/output reference guide, it seems that the gross area is used for all calculations. But my understanding is that calculations should use instead net aperture area. So how does the software make the difference between gross area and net aperture area?
Could someone help me? Maybe I miss some points.

Best Regards
Herve
