for the reply. Yes, the program fails with severe error for both thickness and
conductivity.
I
think that this is an unreasonable restriction since the thermal properties of
moist soil often exceed that conductivity value.
Is
it possible to get a patch and I am willing to do some testing on the outputs
before you officially release it in the future?

If those are maximums in the IDD, you can
change the limit and see if the program fails. There is usually a good reason
for setting mins and maxes the way they are.
