HVAC Templates

This group of objects allows for the specification of simple zone thermostats and HVAC systems with automatically generated node names.

So yes, HVAC Templates allow you to create the system with nodes automatically created and named.  You can then edit the expanded IDF (.expidf) just like a normal IDF.
