Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] First time with this software
Mohammad, You are doing what I recently figured out.
The time step is kinda an inverse number, so 30 is once per two minutes, 60 is once per minute, 20 once per three minutes.
I have attached files of working PCM models for the BioPCM product line that my project is on, the one titled BioPCM Energy Plus Objects has a data set of working objects that you could plug into your model.
You say your lab data is measured per 30 minutes, question are you doing isothermal stepped differential scanning calorimetry?
Also note that my PCM model did not converge until I changed the limits to make the tool more stable, and I had to be creative and figure out through a month of experimentation that the internal source sink layer object had to be used in order to show realistic energy savings from PCM's. (The documentation in my opinion does not actually tell you how to create a working model, rather tells about how each feature works)
To answer your question, use 60 time steps perhour.
Feel free to email or call me with questions if you get stumped.
Lastly, If you care to share--what material is your PCM, just curios....
Thanks

I suppose it is your decision -- I am WARNING you that the
PCM will have severe inaccuracies in Version 7 with timesteps less
than 20. We are trying to rectify that but not sure we can figure
out the cause before the next release.

I know why it happen, but i used
PCM which it is necessary i put time step 20 , in out put i want to have
each 30 minute for temperature.
