Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Re: HVAC Terminal Unit: VariableRefrigerantFlow

Hi, Santiago,

I`m working on a VRV system recently, which I try to integrate a VRV system to deal with the sensible load with a ERV to deal with the latent load.

So I wonder how u place 4 units on only 1 Terminal Units, since I cannot find the configuration for capability of TU, except only in the Coil term. However, when I put all the capability on only one coil, all i can get are many severe errors about the rated vol flow per Rated TotCap. So can u give any help about this? Thanks.

I have solved the problem by reducing the number of terminal units. Before I had 4 TU in one single zone, and this caused many warnings. Now I have placed only 1 TU with the equivalent capacity o the 4 units, and the warnings are gone. But it would be good to be able to insert more than 1 TU per thermal zone. In the meantime I will leave it like this.

Santiago
