RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Dview, results

Hi, Veronika

I am not sure what do you mean by adding Map.exe to DView.

Linda has explained that the Map file from a simulating a DayLigting object is a series of  .csv data showing x-y coordinates and the intensity at that location.

The points of the map is in the DXF file, which requires a separate viewer (VOLOview, etc.).

The profile shows the plot of the  average value for one month in each graph.

I am not sure what the other graph in your docx. is showing.

I have not used it for some time.  If you provide the detail of the file you are plotting, may be I can try plotting them and find out.

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] Dview, results

Hi everyone,

I am doing simulation of house in tropics. In this simulations I added lights, AC unit for 5 zone, daylighting, illuminance and materials/constructions and building by itself. The results in tables looks ok. But when I use Dview for result viewing, the graphs that I see after adding MAP. EXE file to Dview make no sense, very strange graphs as you can see in attached file.

Please can anyone assist me with this matter. Where I've got wrong?
Is there any other way to see graphical results of the simulation?

Looking forward to hear some advices.

Thanks,

Best regards, Veronika
