[EnergyPlus_Support] demand control ventilation

Hello,

I'm trying to add demand control ventilation to some of DOE's prototype building. However, when I add a controller:mechanical ventilation object, I see my energy use (and outdoor air ratios) go UP from the baseline case. When I dig in a little, I see that the minimum outdoor air in DesignSpecification:outdoor air is set to flow/person only. So would this, combined with the occupancy schedule already control airflow based on demand in the baseline? Why would energy use and OA ratios actually be going up in the efficient case?

Thanks for your help!
