Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] calculated heating load zero

Linda,
Thanks for this info-- I was unaware of this, and have now changed the schedules to single heating single cooling for design days-- BUT the problem persists. Would you think that I should modify each other schedules and add a winter design day object to each?

Also would you know the correct approach for infiltration with airflow network? I see "cracks" and a "reference crack condition" for each of my surfaces but am unsure if the mass flow exponent values are correct for say ACH 3.5 ..

I used a shortcut:

"Using WinterDesignDay schedules> Correct me if I am wrong Design Days
are not a "schedule" by object classification
ASHRAE 99.6% winter design day"

If the daytype of the designday is "WinterDesignDay", then the program
uses the values for that day in any schedule item. We suggest not to
setback temperatures (for example) when doing sizing calculations, even
if you are doing that in regular runs.

The WinterDesignDay schedule/day type allows you to codify the schedule
for the simulation without fiddling with various days.
