I would probably model this as a floor exposed to the outdoor environment
but without sun.  Not sure about wind exposure.

I hope this is not true (Americans and stone age).  One of the early
studies using EnergyPlus was a building in San Francisco (or somewhere in
CA) that used natural ventilation -- this was a commercial building, not
a residence.
