Java libary- Hmm, I wonder if XML would be more interoperable? That or SQL so that you could database all of the objects then call them on command and parametrize them.. There is also modelica that does something similar>> http://simulationresearch.lbl.gov/modelica

I don't want to seem lazy, but I'm building an IDF model library on Java for energy simulation interoperability, with parsing and writing skills, and I wonder whether this kind of library already exists, and would be available as an Open Source shared code, or through a scientific cooperation.
