[EnergyPlus_Support] Clarification on epw file format and design day object

Hi all,

I have problem with designday calculations, or lets say winterdesignday. If I leave all possible equipment related autosizable fields on autosize, should simulation converge to thermostat setpoints during winter design day? In my zones, during winter design day, none of the zones reaches thermostat setpoint. Are the reasons in scheduled values, since I state only WeekDays, WinterDesignDay and AllOtherDays, and perhaps  my design day (January 21st) falls on weekend? What weekday is January 1st in epw file format (I read it is Tuesday, but could not find that reference). If it is Tuesday, then Jan 21st is Monday, starting new environment and warmup after the weekend when all equipment was shut down, could cause problems? I could attach lines from my model if it would help.
