[EnergyPlus_Support] RE: Wind speed and direction data?

Dear Mr. Huang,

Thank you for the reply. I have never been working before with EnergyPlus weather files, that is why I asked that question.
I have just downloaded three weather files for Vienna (file extensions: 
.epw , .ddy, .stat) from EnergyPlus Weather Data page:
http://apps1.eere.energy.gov/buildings/energyplus/cfm/weather_data3.cfm/region=6_europe_wmo_region_6/country=AUT/cname=Austria

But none of those three has an annual data (for 
each day, or those three hours during the day you mentioned) on wind speed. It does have just one value - annual mean 
speed, but that's not enough.

Did I download the right files?
