Dear group,
I'm trying to do some energy accounting and coming up short. I'm reporting the Zone Transmitted Solar and trying to make this match the Surface Inside Face Solar Radiation Heat Gain Rate (for all opaque surfaces that enclose the zone) + Short Wave Heat Loss from Zone Back Out Window (for all windows).
About 4-5% of the incoming solar radiation seems to be lost.
As far as I know, air is not modeled to absorb SW radiation. Any thoughts as to where it might be going or what other variables I should be reporting?
Thanks,
Liam O'Brien
