Dear all,
In App G (I am using 2007 version), section "G3.1.1 Baseline HVAC System Type and Description", it says "For systems 1, 2, 3 and 4, each thermal block shall be modeled with its own HVAC system. For systems 5, 6, 7 and 8, each floor shall be modeled with a separate HVAC system."
Does anybody have an idea how to understand it?
It seems only system no. 2 is clear to me, each thermal zone should install this PTHP for the specific zone.
Systems 1, 3 and 4 might just require air system to be its own (system no.1 uses 1 boiler for whole lot of thermal zones, systems 3 and 4 use 1 rooftop unit for whole lot of thermal zones)? Really not sure about this.
The similar question on systems 5, 6, 7 and 8: each floor needs its own rooftop unit (but this seems to make sense)?
