[EnergyPlus_Support] SOFTWARE: jEPlus+EA v1.5 is available

A new version of jEPlus+EA is now available from <http://www.jeplus.org>www.jeplus.org. jEPlus+EA is an optimisation tool for EnergyPlus, with which you can solve any optimisation problems by defining the design variables and the objectives. It has a number of distinctive advantages:

·         The definition of the optimisation problem is contained in a jEPlus project, which makes it easily manageable

·         jEPlus offers flexible ways for result collection, including extraction from ESO and SQLite outputs, and using your own scripts in Python

·         Objectives and constraints can be calculated (and scaled) from simulation results using straightforward equations, e.g. ?o1= (c0+c1)*c2?

·         The optimisation algorithm is a fine-tuned version of NSGA2, which is designed for high dimensional problems, and used for both multi- and single-objective problems. (You do not need to be an optimisation expert to use jEPlus+EA, as the algorithm just works)
