Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] fan systems & design Days



I don't know which example file you're talking about, but:

- Weekdays is Monday to Friday
- Saturday & Sunday are the rest of the week
- Holiday is for Holidays (you can specify a holiday schedule if you want under RunPeriodControl:SpecialDays)
- Winterdesignday and Summerdesignday are for sizing purposes... For example, as far as Occupancy is concerned, you typically assume Full occupancy (=1) for the summer design day and No occupancy (=0) for winter design day => worse case scenario

Thanks Jamie & dru. But, tell me one thing, in the ADULTEDUCATIONCENTRE example file given with energy plus, why WEEKDAYS is always specified with SUMMERDESIGNDAY & SATURDAY OR SUNDAY with WINTERDESIGNDAY. Only SUMMERDESIGNDAY or WINTERDESIGNDAY is not enough ?
        Similarly, in other files also some day types are specifed with SUMMERDESIGNDAY or WINTERDESIGNDAY . Why it is so ?
