[EnergyPlus_Support] MSC thesis subject

Hi
I am a master of science student of energy transformation and I am going
 to select my thesis subject. I'd like to select it as the necessity of 
HVAC community around the world. So I have two options:

1. Energy analysis and optimizing the energy consumption in the buildings by the EnergyPlus software
2. Analysis the moving of the air and particles in the air by FLUENT software

Which of these two topics are more popular??
How about the employment necessity??
If my explanations are not clear enough I'll explain it more in this post.
