[EnergyPlus_Support] electric consumption

hi ,

I hope you're all doing well ,,,

I have 2 identical system files . The only difference is that : one has a water cooling coil then a desiccant wheel while the other has a water cooling coil only .

In the desiccant system case , electric power used by plant has a huge increase , than the other system .

The desiccant itself does its job fine from nodes values . It doesn't appear to be either heating coil of desiccant wheel or it's not fans or the plant loop ( water pump ,ref compressor , condenser fans) as well .

For the 2 systems : 

- cooling coil and its plant loop operate between the same OA point and towards a fixed setpoint temperature output achieved by both systems well .

- The fans in both cases run at constant flow rate drawing same amount of power

- The heating coil of dw is shut off for the sake of the comparison

Did I miss something ? what could be the reason of this ?
