RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] How to set initial conditions in a simulation? (zone temperature, etc...)




The warmup simulation is the first day of the runperiod (or the designday) 
repeated until loads and temperatures stay within the tolerances specified in 
the BUILDING object.  In the eio output file, the number of warmup days is 
reported.

If you wish to force a certain condition on a zone, you could try altering the 
weather data for the first day of the run period and setting it to be a custom 
day type with special thermostat day schedules to force the building to a 
certain state.
