Hi Jason, Jeremiah, I didn’t expect that there may be applications require interaction between E+ parametrics and jEPlus, so jEPlus does not call E+’s parametric preprocessor, which means your E+ parameters will not be parsed. An alternative approach is to use the macro functions in EP-Macro, instead of E+ parametric parameters. You can define a variable name using ##set1 var_name [some value or a jEPlus search tag], and then refer to it using “var_name[]”. In your example it will look like: Length[]-0.05, Width[],Height[]/2+WWRNorth[]*Height[]/2, !- X,Y,Z 1 {m} Yi Zhang IESD, De Montfort University, Leicester, UK From: EnergyPlus_Support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:EnergyPlus_Support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Jeremiah Crossett Primary EnergyPlus support is found at: http://energyplus.helpserve.com or send a message to energyplus-support@xxxxxxxx The primary EnergyPlus web site is found at: http://www.energyplus.gov The group web site is: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/EnergyPlus_Support/ Attachments are currently allowed but be mindful that not everyone has a high speed connection.
