Jeremiah, Jean, I want the total heat flux of the ceiling going into or out of the house air volume.���� If it's a rate, I would just multiply it by the surface area to get what I need.���� I am not interested in the stored heat per se, as I want to see the impact on the house's heating and cooling loads.���� I'm still somewhat unclear on how EnergyPlus distinguishes between conduction and convection, and at one time thought that the convection heat flows accounted for all heat flows into the air, but that can't be because the numbers are too small. Just so you know, I've been communicating with Ed Lee offline on why the Output:Diagnostics,DisplayAdvancedReportVariables; seem not to be working for me.
