[EnergyPlus_Support] Increase timestep EnergyPlus

Dear EnergyPlus usersx

I was wondering if it is possible to increase the timestep in EnergyPlus to 120 (or even 360) times per hour instead of 60 times per hour? I would need this to establish a connection between EnergyPlus and Matlab Simulink. I tried to change the maximum value of the timestep by setting it to 360 in the idd file. The result was that EnergyPlus calculated the system 4 times per hour, instead of every 30 seconds or every 10 seconds. Could someone please tell me if it is possible to implement a shorter timestep and how it could be done? Thank you in advance.
