My GUI can't currently import IDF files.  I've been using it for two years and keep adding functionality as I've had a need (airflownetwork objects last week).  I simply haven't had a need to import IDF files.  It's possible.

For those who are interested, I've invited Jeremiah to see and possibly test the UI.
