At the risk of repeating myself, the
*.epw files have the hourly records of wind speed and direction.
What it doesn't have are any statistical information, such as mean
values, unless they're reported in the *.stat file.

I need an hour wind speed along with direction of wind. Either that for a couple of hours a days, for each day during year. Or if it is not possible, then at least mean day wind speed for each day in a year, along with wind directions.
I must have missed something in the .stat file. Better check it out again.
Will report back if I could not find the required data there or at that .epw file.
